She stormed out of the hallway with a sign of disbelief of what she had just heard. Her eyes welled up and her teeth gripped, she felt anger. There was hardly anything she could do to control her tears and there they were. She cried and cried and she couldn’t think of doing anything else. In a lovely blue flowing dress and carrying her favourite bag, there she was in a place where she never thought she would be.
“Sara” she heard someone call her. When she turned back she saw him there with a box in his hand. Wiping her eyes dry and not wanting to talk to him anything more she kept walking. She didn’t turn back and never did.
5 years later and even now Sara never knew. Sometimes she would feel maybe she should have stayed, and got to see what he had to say but she told herself,” Past is past move on Sara”.
During the same time, miles away, in a tall busy office Mike was typing an email with utmost concentration. His calendar reminded him of his next meeting. Two meetings later and finally finishing the email he started, he went home after a tiring and busy day at work. He sat by his chair and looked through his window overlooking a beautiful green garden with a lovely lawn, a small bridge to cross over and a sand pit for kids to play.
The beautiful garden reminded him with fond memories of someone he dearly misses and loves.
